Hello, my name is Lynn and I run Springfield Childcare.  I am 36 years old and have been married to Allan for 15 years and we have 3 great kids, Charlotte who's 12, Joshua aged 9 and Nikita aged 5.  So you can see I'm experienced in caring for and helping to develop children of all ages. I enjoy it so much that's why I chose this line of work.

I've been childminding in Milton Keynes since February 2001. I am as you would expect registered with the National Childminding Association (N.C.M.A.). I'm OFSTED inspected, a member of the local MK Childminding Network and a member of the Milton Keynes Play Association.
We all attend regularly the local parent and toddler group, and the childminders group.

I have public liability insurance with the NCMA and additional accidental damage insurance so we don't ask you to replace any damaged items.

For the last three years I've been going to night classes at the local college for the CACHE certificate (Council for Awards in Children's Care and Education) I've now completed two modules and received the certificates for the ECP (Extending Childminding Practice) and the DCP (Developing Childminding Practise) I'm Currently doing the 3rd shorter module the ICP (Introducing Childminding Practise) and attending the college for stage one sign language, something I've wanted to do for a long time.

I hold a valid first aid certificate, I'm a qualified chef and I don't smoke.  Which means your children are in a safe, happy and healthy environment each day they're here.
We've lots of educational TOYS and ACTIVITIES.
