Qualifications

I am a registered Childminder with the National Child Minders Association (NCMA) and OFSTED inspected. In October 2003 I attended the Ofsted 'Up-date and child protection' workshop. In March 2002 I attended the NCMA 'Developing Policies In Childminding Practice' workshop. In February 2002 I attended the MK college 'Fire Safety in the Home' workshop. In Jan 2002 I attended the NCMA 'Understanding Equal Opportunities in Childminding' workshop.
In 2004 I am currently attending college for grade one Sign language and I'm doing the ICP* (Introducing Childminding Practice) certificate. In 2003 I Passed the ECP* (Extending Childminding Practice) Certificate, which was a one year course. In 2002 I Passed the DCP* (Developing Childminding Practice) Certificate, which was a one year course. * Three modules for the level 3 CACHE certificate. 2002 I hold a valid first aid certificate with the St John's Ambulance which includes baby and toddler resuscitation. In 2003 I attended an Emergency Life Support training day with Heartstart UK.
